1. Who we are

SalonFlow (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides salon management software including appointment booking, client management, marketing tools, and social media integrations. Our platform is accessible at thesalonflow.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and business details you provide when registering.
• Client data: names, phone numbers, and appointment history that salon owners enter into the platform.
• Social media tokens: when you connect Instagram or Facebook, we store an access token issued by Meta that allows us to post content on your behalf. We do not store your social media passwords.
• Usage data: page views, feature usage, and error logs used to improve the platform.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the SalonFlow platform.
• To post marketing content to your connected Instagram and Facebook accounts when you or your account administrator initiates a distribution.
• To send WhatsApp marketing messages to your salon clients on your behalf.
• To send appointment reminder messages to your clients.
• To improve our services and fix issues.

4. Meta / Instagram data

When you connect your Instagram or Facebook account via Meta OAuth, we receive and store an access token that allows us to publish content to your account. We use this token solely to post content that you or your administrator has approved for distribution. We do not use it to read your private messages, access your followers’ data, or perform any actions beyond publishing posts.

You can disconnect your Instagram or Facebook account at any time from the Settings → Social page. Upon disconnection we delete your access token from our systems.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services necessary to operate the platform: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Meta (social media posting). Each of these providers has their own privacy policy.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
